HYATT PLACE AT THE FARRAGUT HOTEL
Year: 2016 | Knoxville, TN
Situated in the heart of downtown Knoxville on periphery of beloved local landmark, Market Square, the 9-story, 165 key Hyatt Place at the historic Farragut Hotel presents a unique experience that celebrates the rebirth and return of a beloved local landmark to its former glory. Featuring a custom lobby, gym, meeting rooms, banquet space, and rooftop lounge with a bar, its upper levels and rooftop offers breathtaking views of the city and the nearby Smoky Mountains.
As part of the project team, my role involved extensive site verification and documentation of all public spaces, and I assisted in the development of complete construction documents. With the team, I worked closely with the owner to coordinate the FFE throughout the project and execute the design concept inspired by the Admiral Farragut. This coordination included producing custom construction details, assisting in the management of brand standard FFE and its customization driven by building constraints, and selecting lighting, furnishings, and finishes.
