MOTEL FOR INTROVERTS

Inspired by concepts formed through processes of explorative making and deconstruction of found objects, the project to seeks to imagine and reposition spatial experiences and dualities within the programmatic construct of a transient living space. Concepts of illusion, altered perception, and seclusion are explored as the project has a character of indeterminacy and deception. The veiled facade generates a quality of anonymity, while fluid, undulating interior spaces limit immediate visibility and are only revealed by purposeful movement, heightening the sense of privacy and refuge.
